Caterpillars Converge on Dallas

I just got back into town and decided to go for a jog, during which I noticed immense amounts of caterpillars covering the trees in my neighborhood.  The first thing that popped into my head was the plagues of Egypt.  I panicked, ran home, and hid in the corner.  Then I googled “caterpillar colonies”.  Turns out this phenomenon is not new or unusual, but for some reason I had never noticed it before.  In conclusion, there are going to be a lot of moths flying around later this month.
