Gotta love May in Texas! 🌸🌼 And before you say it, I know this isn't a real yoga pose - I was improvising. I returned to the most beautiful place in Texas for a fun & memorable weekend - and the last I'll ever have with my trusty inflatable canoe. Paddling on the bayou, watching critters, making new friends and drinking homemade mead - it just doesn't get any better than this! πŸ›Ά Jumping for joy because I'm at the Trinity River - the most splendid spot in Dallas. I'm going to miss my jogs out here in the fields of wildflowers! πŸŒΈβ‡οΈπŸŒ» Dressed up to watch some horse races this afternoon - my first time ever. 🐎 My betting strategy was to pick the coolest names. I came out even, so I consider it a win! Desperately missing my kind, witty, ridiculously cute boyfriend. A week away can sometimes feel like a year. Enjoying a much needed girl's day with these lovely ladies πŸ’• Saturday Fun in the Sun β˜€οΈπŸ”† Met up with Vinny in Austin and did the best Austin things: ate vegan food & hiked to a swimming hole. Great to see you again, little bro! 🏡️ Ethan & I welcomed the spring by planting native flowers & bunch grasses in what was formerly a giant trash heap. This monarch caterpillar will be very happy about it in a couple weeks! πŸ›
